The East Row Garden Club is often involved in numerous projects within the community.  Some are annual projects, some are one-time efforts.  Below is a list of some of the projects we are working on, and have implemented or participated in in past years.

Building Community

• Community Garden - Get a plot, grow your own veggies, and get to know your community!  Open to all residents of Newport.
   
• Monthly Meetings - share in a meal and attend and educational session.

Fundraising for Charity

• Annual Newport Garden Walk - our biggest annual event and source of charitable giving

Beautifying Our City

• Mansion Hill Neighborhoods Garden  
   
• Neighborhood Flowering Urns - This is managed by the East Row Historic Foundation.  We have assisted them in the past planting and maintaining these beautiful urns throughout our neighborhood.
   
• Purple People Bridge Containers - Civic Garden Center and Master Gardeners team up to fill the planters on the PPB.  Prizes are award for the top three containers.
   
• Hamlet Row Rehab Project - Tree Planting Project - New in 2011!
